Before you go placing your bets, make sure you are looking your best! Whether you are going to The Royal Ascot or your local horserace, there is one essential item they both require: the hat. It is the vital accessory to every horse race event and its important to pair your accessory harmoniously with your outfit. If this is your first event or one of many, here are 5 hats from the Marzi Spring/Summer 2021 collection that are guaranteed to impress and tips on how to pair them!

If you are looking for a large statement piece, we have a large floppy hat in crinoline with a flower embellishment. A perfect balance of emphasis and sophistication. The romantic color palette of this accessory best pairs with shades of white or faded pastel blues. The ideal look would be a sand colored, sleeveless, knee length dress.
Our large fedora in sisal with horsehair flounce is a perfect combination between big and bold. The turquoise hat with the curl detail is simple yet strong statement piece. If matched with a dress or skirt in the same color would insure head turns! Otherwise, shades of whites and pastel pinks combine nicely.
If you are looking to go in a more minimal direction, our panama fedora with a frayed sisal ribbon would be the way to go! But do not think that just because the hat is minimal your outfit should be too; this can be worn with anything from a simple one-color dress to a dress covered entirely with fringe!
We know that a big hat is not what everyone searches for! Our cocktail hat done in mechanical braids with a curved glittered tube giving a small but loud presence! We find that this hat pairs quite easily with many outfits and colors! Besides matching with yellow, shades of blues and pinks create the perfect and fresh aesthetic found in all horse races!
Last but not least, our cocktail hat in natural straw braid with a snake application. Not everyone who goes to the horse races has a colorful palette and would prefer black while still keeping the playful aesthetic. The pop of the gold braid and snake charm is the final touch to needed to the classic black dress.
